Emory Urology Residency for MDs
Residency training in urology at the Emory University School of Medicine is a five-year program that includes one year of general surgery training, followed by four years of training in urologic surgery. Three-months of the general surgery year are also allocated to urology training.
Four residents per year are selected from a large applicant pool through the urology match performed by the American Urological Association (AUA).
Applications are processed through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
October 21, 2020: ERAS will open with the preparation and release of the MSPE (Deans Letters).
Mid-November 2020 into January 2021: Virtual interviews will occur.
January 12, 2021: Deadline for the resident candidate match list.
February 1, 2021: Release of match results.
